Repairs film for Shepherds Bush Housing Group

We first met David Blackburn, Director of Business Support at Shepherds Bush Housing Group at Forum 3, where they always have an award-winning stand. We were very impressed by the quality of their communication and were so pleased when they asked us to make a film for them.
They wanted to explain to residents, in a very accessible way, the checks they should make before reporting a repair. They wanted to make it easier for residents to report repairs and help them carry out some easy jobs themselves. In turn, this would allow the repairs team to focus on urgent repairs.
To make this film we set up four scenarios and worked with two residents, three repairs staff and four staff from the customer services team. Shepherds Bush are going to include a question about the film in their Repairs survey. We like to keep in touch with our clients and monitor how the films are working for them, so we look forward to hearing the results.
You can view the film on the Shepherds Bush Housing Group website.

Films for the housing sector
We specialise in films for housing providers. So far, twelve housing organisations have turned to us when they wanted their communications with their residents and stakeholders to be more accessible, easier to understand and to generate a positive reaction.
Our housing clients include A2Dominion, Gallions, Shepherds Bush Housing Group and all of the Community Gateway Housing Associations. Every film is different. Here are just five ways that film can help you achieve your communication objectives:
- Promotional films that introduce your organisation.
- 'How to' films to explain processes, such as 'reporting repairs'.
- Films that capture and promote focus groups and events.
- Films that accompany documents such as tenancy agreements or funding applications.
- Films that encourage residents to participate in your resident involvement opportunities.
