Equality and Human Rights Commission - Project 1000

This film documents a debate that took place in Covent Garden bringing together young people from all over the country. They discussed ways in which they could make a difference on the issue of identity-based bullying. We filmed the debate itself using two cameras and used interviews with the young people to tell the story of the day.

A montage film like this is a great way of capturing an event both as a record and a promotion for the next event. It really helps people who might be considering attending an event overcome any worries they might have. It shows what they can expect and most importantly they can see the type of people that have attended before, which can break down any preconceptions they might have about fitting in.

Films for the public sector

Film is an incredibly effective (not to mention cost effective) way of informing and engaging.

We've worked with many public sector organisations and understand the increasing need to communicate with a range of audiences – from the general public to staff and stakeholders.

People respond to people. The stars of our films are the staff and service users themselves. We've found that stories told with honesty and passion have a far greater impact than ‘flashy’ titles and graphics. It’s certainly more cost effective.

Every film is different. Here are just five ways that film can help you achieve your communication objectives:

  1. Promotional films to introduce your whole organisation
  2. Films that record events such as launches and AGMs – making them available to a wider audience.
  3. Films that document and promote a particular project.
  4. Films to encourage more sponsors.
  5. Films that promote events, such as family days out.
